Following recent private equity investment, the business is entering a significant growth phase and is seeking a commercially driven Chief Revenue Officer to lead and scale all revenue-generating functions.
This is a strategically critical executive appointment, responsible for driving commercial growth, executing go-to-market strategy, and building a scalable revenue organisation to support the next stage of expansion.
Context and Responsibilities:
The business is seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead and scale the commercial organisation through its next chapter of growth.
The CRO will own overall commercial strategy and revenue performance, leading Sales, Marketing, Partnerships and Account Management to deliver sustainable, scalable growth while strengthening market position.
Working closely with the CEO, leadership team and Board, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping go-to-market strategy, improving commercial execution, and building a high-performing revenue organisation. The role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader with experience scaling B2B SaaS, data, or technology businesses serving enterprise clients.
Key responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Leadership
- Own and deliver company-wide revenue growth targets, forecasting accuracy and overall commercial performance.
- Develop and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy aligned with companies' growth ambitions and PE-backed objectives.
- Partner closely with the CEO, leadership team and Board to shape strategic priorities and commercial direction.
- Identify new market opportunities, verticals, routes to market and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Refine pricing, packaging and commercial models to maximise revenue growth, profitability and customer value.
Enterprise Sales & Customer Growth
- Lead enterprise Sales activity from pipeline development through to contract negotiation and closure, including supporting strategic deals personally where required.
- Improve enterprise sales effectiveness through stronger CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, pipeline management and operational rigour.
- Expand the company's footprint across insurers, brokers, MGAs and strategic ecosystem partners.
- Drive customer retention, account expansion and executive-level engagement with key customers and partners.
- Build predictable and scalable ARR growth through disciplined pipeline generation and customer success initiatives.
Marketing, Partnerships & Operational Excellence
- Oversee Marketing strategy and ensure close alignment between Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams.
- Develop scalable demand generation and Account-Based Marketing programmes that support measurable pipeline growth.
- Strengthen the company's market positioning, thought leadership and brand visibility within insurance and insurtech markets.
- Develop strategic partnerships with insurers, data providers, platforms and ecosystem partners to accelerate growth and market credibility.
- Establish clear commercial KPIs, dashboards and reporting frameworks to support performance management and decision making.
- Build and scale a high-performing commercial organisation with a strong culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Reinforce the adoption of RevOps principles, scalable processes and operational discipline across the revenue function.
Experience and track record:
Commercial Leadership
- Senior commercial leadership experience within B2B SaaS, data, software or technology businesses.
- Track record of scaling revenue and delivering growth in high-growth or investor backed environments.
- Experience building and leading commercial teams through periods of growth and change.
- Strategic and operational capability, combining long-term planning with strong execution.
Enterprise Sales & Go-to-Market
- Strong enterprise sales experience with complex, consultative buying cycles.
- Experience selling high-value software, data or information solutions.
- Exposure to insurance, financial services or other regulated markets advantageous.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies, partnerships and revenue growth initiatives.
