Role Summary: 

We are representing a rapidly scaling global payments business which is turning the FinTech world on its head. Our client boasts one of the largest payment networks worldwide, enabling businesses to trade seamlessly on a single platform that supercharges modern remittance. 

Having recently secured Series A funding from a leading US investment bank, they are now seeking a dynamic VP of Sales Europe to build and lead a world-class team. This involves defining the GTM strategy and driving revenue growth for the FX business across UK & Europe. You will be working with an entrepreneurial team and will benefit from a generous uncapped compensation structure, offering significant earning potential.

As a VP of Sales for Europe, you are the heartbeat of the sales team and role model who leads by example. We are seeking an experienced and strategic minded VP of Sales to drive business development efforts across UK and Europe. You will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive strategy and driving revenue growth to further establish our position in the market. 

We are looking for a visionary business development leader with a strong strategic mindset and a passion for driving revenue growth in the remittance industry to own and build a first-class sales team based in London. 

Key responsibilities: 

GTM Strategy: develop and execute the go-to-market plan aligned with overall business objectives that drives revenue growth and increases market share. 

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer feedback analysis to identify business opportunities and gain a competitive edge. Translate market insights into actionable strategies and tactics to drive business growth. 

Customer Acquisition and Retention: Oversee customer acquisition strategies to expand our customer base and increase brand loyalty. Implement customer retention initiatives and ensure exceptional customer service to maximize customer satisfaction and recurring business. 

Financial Performance and Reporting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business development initiatives. Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and provide regular reports to senior management. 

Experience and track record:

  •  Previous experience working in a FinTech or a SaaS organisation. 
  •  Strong understanding of the payment market dynamics, regulatory compliance, and industry trends. 
  • A proven track record of business development within the payments or financial services industry with a consultative approach to selling. 
  • Skilled at executive corporate level negotiations and building long-term client relationships. 
  • Highly collaborative with leadership gravitas and data-driven sales performance management experience. 
  • Experience in building foundational and disciplined sales structures and processes. 
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-level. 
  • Ability to think creatively and build innovative solutions. 
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset with a strong spirit.
