Founded in 2009, Our client is the leading supplier of cloud based, risk management software solutions for the energy, commodity, and financial markets. Their SaaS technology uses business intelligence to enable clients to monitor, manage and mitigate exposures arising from market, credit, and compliance risk.  

Our Client is looking for a Sales Director – USA to join the Global Sales Team in identifying and signing target Global Multinational Energy/Commodities Clients with complex credit risk management needs. A commanding knowledge of the Energy and Commodities trading industry is desired for this role. This Sales Director will need to understand the current situation in credit risk technologies, with a solid technical understanding of what is required to deliver complex technical solutions to large, complex multinational clients.  

The Sales Director will be negotiating and signing new business in the US.  A strong acumen for closing complex contracts is preferred. 

Key responsibilities: 

Commercial and Sales activity 

  • Develop, pursue, and execute through to closing new business sales opportunities in the Global Multinational client sector. 
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments for prospects focusing on their credit risk/compliance needs and strategic priorities. 
  • Orchestrate product capabilities to form a solution to meet client needs and drive revenue. 
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, including pipeline, forecast and deal management. 
  • Co-ordinate complex sales campaigns with Global clients. 
  • Achieve above-quota sales results for our fast-growing global enterprise. 

Experience and track record: 

5–10 years of global sales experience in commodities/energy technology, with prior consulting a plus. Proven hunter with a strong track record of driving new business through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building both virtually and in-person.
