They are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Senior Business Development Manager to head up commercial activities in EMEA.
Key responsibilities:
Commercial and sales activities
- Develop, lead, and execute the company’s commercial strategy and activities to achieve sales target and market expansion goals in EMEA.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, developing strategies to convert leads into long-term, high-value customers.
- Identify growth opportunities and define strategies for EMEA, products, and customer segments.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Client Relationship Management
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Gather and analyze client feedback to understand customer needs and inform product development and improvement.
- Work closely with content specialists and data product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support for clients.
Collaboration with Product and Marketing Teams
- Collaborate with the product team to align offerings with market demand, competitive pricing, and value propositions.
- Work with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, promotional campaigns, and content that highlight the value of the company’s datasets for EMEA clients.
- Provide input on product improvements and new offerings based on customer and market feedback specific to EMEA customer needs.
Experience and track record:
- Min. 5 years’ of B2B sales experience, including selling to MedTech clients in EMEA region.
- Strong understanding of MedTech industry business insights, market data and analytics requirements.
- Strong network of existing business contacts in the MedTech industry.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify growth opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Ideally, some leadership and team management experience to lead and mentor a high-performing sales team in the future.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing market conditions and client needs.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure high-value contracts and partnerships.
